Kim Kang-hyun, the commander of the field in Busan, the oldest member of the team, wants the beauty of the end of the line.

Since opening a dedicated gym in Gangseo-gu, Busan last year, Team Busan, which has been steadily making its presence known throughout the country, started 2025 with a tour of Jeju Island.

Team Busan, which headed to Jeju Island for two nights and three days from the 2nd to the 4th, participated in the 1st National Dream Tree Youth Basketball Competition, which also served as a stove league, and on the last day of off-season training, they toured tourist attractions on Jeju Island and made precious memories.
Team Busan's oldest team, which participated in the U14/U15 event, secured four wins and two losses. Considering that the team is not fully integrated, this is a good achievement.

Kim Kang-hyun, who played as the main point guard, helped the team develop its offense through active talking as well as stable game management throughout the tournament.

After completing the off-season training in Jeju Island, Kim Kang-hyun said, "I would like to thank (Team Busan) teachers for creating this opportunity. Thanks to learning pattern play well from my third-year colleagues to my juniors, I felt that I am competitive in the whole country even though I am not a full-fledged player. Also, I felt that Coach Kim Young-sam, who led us, really invested a lot (for us)."
He continued, "Min Joon-seo has good personal skills. I haven't been able to show all my skills due to lack of confidence, but I'm glad that this tournament has given me a shot, which is Jun-seo's strength. Personally, I was in a position to lead the team as a point guard. There were some plays that I was not confident in early in the game, but coach (Kim Young-sam) kept giving me opportunities and explained in detail what I didn't know. I feel good to be able to learn basketball professionally, and I think I have gained a lot of experience through the opportunity of the tournament."

Most junior high school youth teams have fewer chances to face off against competitors from other regions. The same goes for Team Busan.

Team Busan, which faced Suwon KT's youth the next day, faced off equally until the first half, but bowed to a lack of hindsight in the second half. 메이저놀이터

How did you feel about facing your peers in other regions other than Busan through this competition.

"Suwon KT was the most impressive. I had a lot of good physical friends, but I thought it was worth it. If the atmosphere was not down, and if I had used pattern play more, I could have won enough," said Kim Kang-hyun.

Finally, Kim Kang-hyun, who is about to enter high school, said, "The Dong-A University Grand Prix, the biggest competition in Busan, will be a full-fledged athlete. I want to finish the final stage before entering high school without getting hurt and smiling."
